Understanding Color Formats
RGB (Red, Green, Blue)
The additive color model used for digital screens. Values range from 0-255 for each channel.
HSL (Hue, Saturation, Lightness)
Often preferred by designers because it separates the color (Hue) from its intensity (Saturation) and brightness (Lightness).
CMYK (Cyan, Magenta, Yellow, Black)
The subtractive color model used in printing. Unlike screens that add light, ink subtracts brightness from white paper.
